About Kevin Freestone

I was born in Utah and raised in Wright, WY, where I graduated from high school. I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I moved to Pierre in 1998, to work for BIT and the SD Attorney General’s Office before starting with Factor 360 in 2006. I have 3 wonderful girls ages 29, 23 and 21, and 3 grandchildren. I love to hunt, fish, camp, play softball, officiate softball and football, and listen to music.

Who is your greatest inspiration?

Dale Murphy, former Atlanta Braves MVP. He never let stardom get the best of him like we see in so many famous athletes of today.  He kept to his principles and beliefs, and continues to be a great philanthropist so many years after his retirement.

Favorite childhood TV show?

Childhood was so long ago!  I watched a variety of shows, from cartoons to sitcoms to movies to sports. I’d have to say the ones which sticks out the most are the Cosby show and Atlanta Braves baseball.

Any volunteer activities you are crazy about?

I love to volunteer in nearly any capacity. Community service and charity activities are my favorites.

Have you ever won an award?

I served as a member of the Jaycees for many years and earned numerous awards with that organization on the state and national levels.

What would be impossible for you to give up?

Pizza

If you were an animal what would you be, and why?

I’d be an eagle because of the views I’d experience and the freedom.

If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

“Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff”
